Job Description- Electrical Costing Manager
1. Good understanding of all Single line diagrams (AUTOCAD), BOQ, Technical Specifications, and Datasheets.
2. Having good knowledge about all Electrical package consisting of DG set, Transformers, HT panels, LT panels, Bus ducts, rising mains, HT/LT cables, Point wiring, Circuit wiring, Switches/Sockets, Earthing, Light Fixtures, Raceways, Junction boxes, Cable Trays etc.,
3. Coordination with Client, Consultant, Design dept. and Site.
4. Quantity Estimation, Rate Analysis and Cost Working.
5. Prepare Bill of Quantities, Pre tender estimates.
6. Prepare budgets, Project Cost Control Statement, Cash flow, Budget tracking and review with PCC during the project progress.
7. Consultants / Contractors Prequalification, Vendor Long / short list, Pre-Q reports.
8. Tender process - Tender formulation, Comparisons, negotiation & finalization, Value engineering for Budget Adjustments, Addendums and Tender recommendation reports.
9. Meetings & MOMs - Pre-bid, Technical, Commercial, Tender Adjudication with the final Vendor Evaluation Presentations, Post-bid, Kickoff, PCM.
10. Allotment of LOA, LOI, Work Orders, Prepare Contracts and Agreements.
11. Vendors Registration & Documentation, Bank guarantees, Track records.
12. Prepare Procurement Progress Report, Project Cost Control Reports, Tender Event Schedules, MIS (MPR, DDR) with the MRM presentations, Monitor & minimize the delays.
13. Scrutiny & processing of contractors bills, Payments & Track record.
14. Review variation Statements, working for extra items including monitoring cost implications on project budgets, Change orders.
15. Contractual Communication / correspondence.
16. Setting and Achieve Quarterly KPI and Track record
17. Monitoring departmental operations, implementation of new systems and track record of improvements, Standard Operating Procedures, Complete Technical / commercial audits for Project packages
18. Incumbent should be well versed in doing the Electrical Costing & Tendering of the Corporate Fit-out Projects.

- Should have extensive experience in taking out the costing, rate analysis of items used in corporate interiors.
